Many clients ask if I train children too! I usually chuckle and say "Sorry, that is your job". Yet I ask myself ... Why do people think that a dog should be born knowing how to behave in our households? Most people would not dream of allowing their two-year-old child to be unsupervised and yet they feel that an unsupervised puppy should arrive and know the rules.

Rick's Canine Workshop has been designed with the first time dog owner in mind. My programs combine useful techniques that will help you teach your dog to be a joy to live with. Dogs don't want to be bad. They want a chance to please and be loved. But they are not born knowing the rules and social graces of humans. You have to teach them how to behave in a clear and concise way. My goal is for you to be happy with your dog.
